Mr. Tawney brings more than a decade of investor relations, fundraising and management experience to RiverRock Funds. Mr. Tawney’s professional experience includes most recently serving as Senior Managing Director at L&S Advisors, a boutique asset management company, where he was responsible for implementing the firm’s first institutional development program. Prior to L&S Advisors, Mr. Tawney was the lead analyst for a $2.7B team with Morgan Stanley’s Graystone Consulting group. There he was responsible for the team’s technical analyst center, which had oversight of manager due diligence, asset allocation, portfolio construction, detailed performance reporting and account reconciliation. Later Mr. Tawney served as Director of Client Service & Development at Torray Investment Management where he was responsible for growing firm assets by $1B+. Mr. Tawney began his career with Waddell & Reed. He received a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado, an MBA from University of Maryland’s R.H. Smith School of Business and holds his series 66 securities license.
